- I'll wager it was always quite reliable because of the simplicity of its
- interface. Unices also tend to lean towards "one size fits all" approaches
- which reduces the number of interactions that need to be taken into account.

- To paraphrase Dennis Ritchie (I think): UNIX has outlived its commercial
- viability, but as a standard it's going to live a long, long time.
